Resaw Operator – Lumber Mill
Ridge Cedar Ltd. is looking for a reliable Resaw Operator to join our growing lumber mill operation.
We specialize in high-quality cedar and premium wood products and are looking for someone who takes pride in precision and productivity.
Position: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor resaw equipment safely and efficiently
Break down lumber to required thicknesses and specifications
Inspect material for defects and quality
Maintain consistent accuracy and production
Perform basic machine adjustments and daily maintenance
Keep a clean and safe work area
Work closely with other mill operators to meet production targets
Operate forklift/loader to gather wood and take out orders
Requirements:
Experience operating resaws or similar sawmill equipment (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
Mechanical aptitude an asset
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
Forklift/loader/tractor experience .
