We work with mining and exploration companies on their site so you will be working on-site for 2-weeks at a time then return home for two weeks before starting your next 2-week shift.
Responsibilities and Duties
As the Housekeeper/Janitor you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas on the camp are clean and tidy as well as regularly disinfected. In addition, you will be responsible to do the following:
- All laundry
- Regularly clean washrooms
- Regularly clean windows, walls, and floors
- Clean all and sanitize all frequently touched surfaces
- Reporting any equipment/utensil malfunctions/deficiencies to head cook
- Working collaboratively with team members
- Following and enforcing hygiene and safety standards
Qualifications
- WHMIS Certification
- First Aid Level 1
