AYR Motor Express is a Canadian based truck load carrier. We offer lots of miles with quick turn around times. All equipment is newer and well maintained by the shop on our premises.
We are currently looking for teams and singles to run Canada/US Long-haul.
Drivers must have the following:
- Valid Class 1 drivers license or the education and ability to obtain
- Commercial driving experience is an asset
- Current drivers abstract
- a current criminal record search
- a passport and/or FAST card - or the ability to obtain
- Must be able to communicate in English
Plus loading/unloading; picks/drops; trailer switches are paid as extra
We pay by direct deposit and offer subsidized group health plan and company pension plan.
Duties Include:
- Drive Tractor Trailer on long routes throughout Canada & the USA
- Conduct both Pre-Trip and Post Trip Vehicle Inspections
- Ensure cargo is safely secured
- Maintain accurate Log Books and follow HOS Regulations
- Comply with all DOT regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers as well as customers
