Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to carry and lift heavy packages and commercial vehicles as needed. Mileage will be compensated for those who use their own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items for delivery.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders delivery manifests.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with freight handling.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
