Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers, take orders, and serve food efficiently with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and sales
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Uphold sanitation standards by following proper cleaning protocols and safety procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or food preparation roles is beneficial for success in this position
