The Role: Carpenter Technician
Reporting directly to the Production Manager
What Success Looks Like
- Timber components are cut, shaped, and assembled accurately according to drawings and specifications
- Frames and specialty millwork are built to a high standard of craftsmanship
- Safety protocols and shop procedures are consistently followed
- Workstations and tools are kept clean, organized, and maintained
- Projects are completed efficiently and collaboratively with the rest of the team
- You actively support production targets while maintaining quality and detail
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with carpentry, joinery, or construction
- Skilled in reading 3d models, technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting lists
- Proficient with woodworking tools and machinery (e.g. saws, routers, drills)
- Strong focus on detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and in a team
- Physically capable of manual labour, lifting and standing for extended periods.
Desirable:
- Formal qualifications in carpentry, joinery, or construction.
- Forklift license or willingness to train.
- Experience with CNC machinery.
