The Bugman Pest Control is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Bed Bug Heat Treatment Technician to join our team.
This role specializes in providing professional bed bug heat treatments for residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for setting up and operating heat treatment equipment, monitoring treatment temperatures, and ensuring each service is completed thoroughly and professionally.
No previous pest control experience is required. We provide training on our equipment, treatment procedures, and company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and working independently.
All required equipment is provided, and scheduling is flexible based on service demand.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bed bug heat treatments in residential and commercial properties
- Set up, operate, and monitor heat treatment equipment
- Follow company procedures to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
- Complete service reports and document treatment details
- Maintain and properly care for company equipment
Qualifications
- Professional and confident demeanor and appearance
- A valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, co-workers and management
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

Wage
This position is commission-based, with estimated earning potential of $36–$45 per hour depending on completed treatments and efficiency. Compensation is based on the services completed rather than a traditional hourly wage
Schedule/Availability
We are looking for someone who can commit to being available for bed bug heat treatments on approximately 3 days per week (specific days to be mutually agreed upon). This is a flexible, on-call position where appointments are scheduled based on customer demand, meaning the number of hours available may vary from week to week. Some weeks may have limited or no appointments, while busier periods may offer multiple treatments and additional hours.
This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible work who is comfortable with hours depending on service demand.
