Truman Homes is looking for a Service Technician/General Handyman to service numerous rental properties located around the city of Calgary. This position will report to the property management team and ensure the properties are kept up to our company's standards. You must be customer service driven and be able to handle the challenges of maintaining multiple residences.
Duties include but not limited to:
Ensure multiple properties meet our company standards.
Competently diagnose problems with HVAC, Electrical and plumbing systems.
Perform minor repairs to HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
Knowledge of multi-family, commercial and single family properties.
Able to perform drywall repair and patching, painting and touchups.
Troubleshoot appliance issues.
General carpentry, installation of blinds, fixing doors, cabinets etc.
Basic flooring repairs and service.
Manage tenant requests including proper follow up to ensure satisfaction and completion.
Perform maintenance inspections and identify deficiencies upon tenant move out.
Able to prioritize and adapt to different situations.
Communicate with the property management team and property residents regarding on going repairs and open work orders.
Assist our construction team when needed with minor service repairs and walk throughs.
Must be fluent in Outlook and Microsoft products
Must have a own vehicle.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
