Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, in a welcoming and professional environment. The Nail Technician will also have the chance to engage in retail sales and upselling to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and products based on client needs
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a relaxing experience for clients and addressing their questions or concerns
- Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Assist with body waxing services when qualified and trained to do so
- Keep accurate records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with nail specialization
- Proven experience in performing various nail treatments with a strong portfolio of work preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Strong sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment
- Ability to upsell products and services in a friendly, professional manner
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
