Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused new-build Tarion Warranty Service Representative to join our team. This role involves managing warranty claims, providing exceptional customer service, conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections, and supporting our clients through effective communication and problem-solving. Responsibilities
- Handle warranty claims efficiently by processing data entry accurately and promptly.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues related to warranty services.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess warranty cases, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions and transactions within the customer management system.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure positive customer experiences.
- Collaborate with internal and trade teams to resolve complex warranty issues and improve service processes.
- Conduct on-site Pre-Delivery Inspections with emphasis on Tarion Guidelines and Ontario Building Code.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service, or related roles; experience in new-construction builds (Tarion) warranty services is a plus.
- Able to travel to site for Inspections and meetings with homeowners.
- Current site locations include: Quinte West (biweekly), Stayner (monthly).
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Analytical skills to evaluate warranty cases and identify effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is integral to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and courteous warranty support across diverse markets.
