Team Sales Production Worker

About the Role
The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, a family-owned independent hockey retailer, is looking for a Team Sales Production Worker to join our Team Sales department. In this role, you'll operate and maintain our production equipment, prepare custom apparel and equipment orders, and help ensure every finished product meets our quality standards before it reaches the customer or destination.
While this position isn't customer-facing, the work you do has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and product quality — precision and consistency matter here.
You'll work closely with our Team Sales team during training and onboarding to build your skills with our equipment and processes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare apparel, equipment, and logos for in-house or outsourced embellishment
- Operate production machinery, including heat presses, vinyl printer/cutters, and sublimation printers
- Apply various decoration techniques and materials accurately and consistently
- Execute custom designs based on finalized proofs and orders
- Help prepare completed orders for pickup, delivery, or shipping
- Restock the sales floor as needed
- Assist with other projects around the store as directed
What You'll Learn & Grow Into
- Heat pressing technique — placement, pressure, temperature, and timing
- Setup, operation, and basic maintenance of production equipment
- Different decoration methods and materials used in-house
- Producing clean, accurate, high-quality finished products with increasing independence

Physical Demands of This Role
This is a hands-on, physically active production role. Over the course of a shift, you can expect to:
- Stand for the majority of your shift
- Lift and carry boxes and materials up to 20 lbs
- Use full range of arm motion repeatedly to operate heat press equipment
- Work in an environment where equipment (heat presses, sublimation printers) generates heat, making the work area warm at times
Compensation, Hours & Benefits
- Pay: $18.25–$23.00/hour, based on experience
- Pay frequency: Bi-weekly
- Hours: 35-40 hours/week
- Schedule for this position is Monday-Friday however a pattern including a weekend could be accommodated
- Benefits: 50% employer-covered health benefits after probationary period
