Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and committed Deli Clerk to join our team at D&J Sausage Factory located in Brantford, Ontario. In this role, you will be essential in serving customers, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and slice deli meats and cheeses according to store standards.
- Assist customers with their selections and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area.
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met.
- Manage inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth store functioning.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in food preparation or deli work (not required)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
