We are seeking an organized, efficient and top-notch, customer service champion to join our growing team. In this position you will serve, bartend, and play a key role in handling the day-to-day operations, and will lead a team in delivering a superior guest experience. You will ensure all health and safety procedures are met, and positively contribute to the overall success of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of all products and operations
- Willingness to serve/bartend/buss/clean as needed
- Ability to lead by example, evaluate, train and supervise staff
- Computer proficiency, paperwork and other administrative duties
- Open/close the business, and be responsible for staff on duty
- Maintain stock levels and assist in ordering supplies when necessary
- Promptly and successfully address customer inquiries and feedback
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience working as a bartender, server or manager in a restaurant/pub environment
- High school degree or equivalent; or relevant work experience
- Serving it Right, WHMIS and Foodsafe certifications
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently, as well as coach, manage, and motivate a team
- Confidence to work in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure
- A solid understanding of best business management practices and strategies
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and business acumen
- Physically able to stand and move during the length of a shift; able to bend and kneel through a shift; able to carry 25 pounds or more of supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
