Sawadee Thai Massage is seeking a professional and client-focused Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness team.
We are a busy, established massage clinic with a strong local reputation and a five-star Google rating. We continue to receive significant demand for RMT services and are looking for a dependable therapist who wants to build a long-term client base in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Position Overview
The Registered Massage Therapist will provide professional, therapeutic massage treatments based on each client’s needs, health history and treatment goals.
This is an independent contractor opportunity with a 60/40 revenue split in the RMT’s favour. Plus Tips!!
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy assessments and treatments
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on client needs
- Complete accurate and timely clinical and SOAP notes
- Obtain informed consent before treatment
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Provide appropriate home-care and follow-up recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional treatment room
- Follow all CMTO standards, infection-control requirements and clinic policies
- Work cooperatively with reception, management and other practitioners
- Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive clinic environment
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Eligible to provide receipts for extended health insurance claims
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Committed to ethical practice and client-centred care
- New graduates are welcome to apply
Experience with deep-tissue massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage, cupping or other therapeutic techniques is considered an asset but is not required.
