Meat Cutter
Strathcona Square Sobeys is looking for the right person to join our team as a Meat Cutter.
This position is responsible for meat cutting, stocking, cleaning the department and providing excellent customer service.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Cutting meat
- Stocking products
- Cleaning
- Assisting customers
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Possess strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work in a cold work environment
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
- Meat cutting certificate from a post-secondary institute
OR
- Minimum of one year meat cutting/meat department experience
