Fundraising Team Manager / Leadership Development Opportunity
Victoria, BC (Relocation Required)
SunSpark Canvassing is a growing face-to-face fundraising organization helping charities across Canada build sustainable donor support through authentic public engagement.
We partner with nonprofit organizations to grow long-term monthly donor programs through meaningful conversations in communities across the country.
We are currently expanding our operations in Victoria, BC and are looking for experienced fundraising leaders and strong team builders to help grow and develop high-performing teams.
Please note:
We welcome applications from candidates currently based in Vancouver, Surrey, and the Lower Mainland. However, this position is based in Victoria, BC, and candidates must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities: Fundraising & Public Engagement
- Engage face-to-face with members of the public on behalf of nonprofit partners
- Build rapport and communicate impactful stories that inspire support
- Inspire individuals to become monthly donors supporting important causes
- Represent SunSpark and partner organizations professionally and ethically
Team Development & Leadership
- Coach and mentor fundraisers in the field
- Help build motivated, high-performing fundraising teams
Program Development
As leadership responsibilities grow, opportunities may include:
- Supporting team structure and field operations
- Leading teams toward daily and weekly fundraising targets
- Helping build scalable systems and a strong team culture
What We're Looking For
We are especially interested in candidates with previous fundraising leadership experience
Preferred Experience
- Face-to-face fundraising experience (door-to-door, street, malls, or events)
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in performance-driven environments
- Sales, outreach, advocacy, or team leadership experience

- Comfortable engaging with the public throughout the day

Requirements
- Access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
- Must be willing to relocate to Victoria, BC
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Victoria region
- Eligible to work in Canada
Pay & Growth Opportunities
- Starting base pay: $22/hour guaranteed (negotiable)
- Bonuses and commissions are additional based on both individual and team performance
- Mileage reimbursement
Schedule
- Shifts available Tuesday through Sunday
