Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation and construction, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring that each installation meets quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for precise installations.
- Perform caulking and sealing to ensure weatherproofing of installations.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and plumb of installed products.
- Collaborate with carpenters for any necessary framing adjustments or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in window/door installation or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
- Skills in carpentry, flooring installation, caulking, plumb alignment, and building are highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job requirements.
