Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Schedule: Full Time
Our client is seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to support commercial, industrial, and civil concrete projects across Alberta. The successful candidate will have strong finishing experience and the ability to deliver high-quality concrete work according to project specifications.
What's the Job?
- Place, spread, screed, and finish concrete flatwork to specified tolerances.
- Perform power trowel and hand finishing to achieve required quality standards.
- Set and verify grade elevations using control points and field measurements.
- Install control joints and complete post-pour curing procedures.
- Perform concrete finishing activities on industrial and commercial projects.
- Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure quality workmanship and project completion.
What's Needed?
- Journeyman Concrete Finisher certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of concrete finishing experience.
- Experience operating power trowel equipment.
- Experience working on industrial or commercial concrete projects.
- Ability to read and follow project specifications and site instructions.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain industrial site access requirements, including applicable safety tickets and drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including early concrete pours.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Assets
- Experience with large industrial slabs or high-specification flatwork.
- Experience with curb, gutter, and sidewalk infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of CSA A23.1 concrete flatness and levelness standards.
- First Aid, OH&S, CSTS, or equivalent safety certifications.
