JOB DESCRIPTION
Yard Worker/General Help
We are a Canadian supplier of building material equipment, scaffold and formwork accessories. We are seeking a professional, highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator and General help in the warehouse and Yard.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation:
· Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load and unload materials throughout the facility.
· Move pallets, skids and baskets.
· Ensure materials are properly stored.
· Assist customers in the loading and unloading of products.
· Assist with inventory management
· Provides warehouse general support.
· Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
· Lifting and moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
· Operate equipment in a safe manner.
· Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on warehouse and yard equipment, including forklifts and trailer.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Forklift experience: 1 years minimum.
· Forklift certification is required.
· Ability to tow and maneuver a trailer safely
· A valid “G” license.
· Class D license is an asset.
· Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Job Type:
· Full-time permanent position
· Pay from $20 per hour
Schedule:
· 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday
