A well-established community pharmacy in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia is looking for a Relief Pharmacist to join their team for a full-time, 1-month contract. This role is ideal for pharmacists who enjoy working in a collaborative setting alongside a large, experienced pharmacy crew.
With extensive pharmacist overlap and solid assistant coverage, this is one of the best-staffed pharmacy environments in the area.
Position Summary
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Location: Fraser Valley, BC
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 1 Month
Hours: 40 hours per week
System: Kroll
Pay: $65 per hour
Pharmacy Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Work Environment
- 400–500 prescriptions dispensed daily
- 6 overlapping Pharmacists
- 6–8 Pharmacy Assistants
- Strong operational support and workflow management
- Fast-paced, team-focused atmosphere
- Established Kroll-based processes
Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Offer patient counselling and clinical services
- Work closely with pharmacists, assistants, and support staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and provincial regulations
- Provide high-quality patient care in a busy setting
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in British Columbia
- Kroll experience preferred
- Comfortable in a high-volume pharmacy environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage priorities and stay accurate under pressure
