Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with efficiency and professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Ensure a clean and sterile clinical environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage patient questions and concerns with excellent customer service skills
- Support pediatric patients and adapt communication approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations and patient flow
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of practice
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental office management software is preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous
- Bilingual abilities are considered a plus to serve diverse patient populations
- Previous experience in a dental office setting, including dental assisting or hygiene roles, is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
