DZ Delivery Driver
Carp, ON
Pay: $24 - $28/hour
Tuesday to Friday day shifts (normally 8 – 12 hours long per day) but will be required to stay overnight twice per month for 2 nights at a time (4 nights in total) when driving into Quebec (every 2 weeks)
Job Description:
- Rotate between driving a DZ truck and a Sprinter van (Freightliner D6 cab and Chasis with a 24 foot box, powerlift tailgate)
- Do commercial and residential deliveries and be the face of the company
- Check invoices to ensure products being delivered are correct
- Ensure that products are delivered in a new and presentable condition
- Ensure quality control measures have been adhered to prior to shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by following customer’s delivery instructions
- Abide by all traffic / highway rules and regulations
- Perform daily circle checks (pre and post delivery) ensuring the vehicle meets all Company safety requirements
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid DZ license (class 3 license) with air brake qualification
- Must have 2 – 5 years of professional driving experience and experience driving automatic
- Clean CVOR and drivers abstract
- Must be comfortable with staying overnight 4 times per month
