Your future role on our team
BBA is creating a specialized sales enablement function, led by the Strategist and Team Leader, Marketing and Business Development. You’ll work closely with our Markets and Sales teams to sharpen our positioning, develop the tools needed to succeed and ensure a consistent and compelling presence in the market.
You’ll be responsible for one of BBA’s three priority markets (Energy and Renewables, Mining and Metals, or Energy and Chemicals), while also leading a shared team of three content specialists who support all strategists and market vice-presidents. This role operates within a matrix organization: specialists serve the entire sales enablement function, while you’re accountable for their day-to-day development, performance and effectiveness.
You’ll need to be equally comfortable establishing strategy and executing it while being able to lead a team through a concrete organizational transformation.
With us, you’ll get the opportunity to...
As a market strategist:
- Design high-value-added sales tools, such as client presentations, executive presentations and complex strategic proposals
- Establish and maintain your market’s value propositions and differentiators, tailored to your market, clients and sales contexts
- Lead the positioning of priority strategic proposals
- Work with leadership teams and client account managers on positioning, key messages and proposal strategy
As the team leader for the content specialist pool:
- Lead, develop and support a team of three content specialists shared across the function
- Define how the pool operates, including workflows, priorities, capacity allocation and quality standards
- Coordinate with other strategists to assign specialists based on market needs, ensuring effective overflow capacity
- Coach specialists with content creation, process improvement and support for assembling proposals and presentations
Play an active leadership role in establishing this new function by helping define standards of excellence
