Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and attentive Servers to join our restaurant. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service and hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. Additionally, positions will be available for Sushi Chef and Back Chef, both of which have comparable wages.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication with the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables simultaneously without compromising service quality
- Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures throughout the shift
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and proper serving techniques
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory
