Job Summary
We are looking for a home sharing provider to support an individual with a disability in Fort St. John. In a home sharing arrangement, an adult with a disability lives in a person’s home and receives support and services based on their personal goals and needs. Experienced in supporting adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities required.

What is Home Sharing:
In a home sharing arrangement, an adult with a disability lives in a person’s home and receives support and services based on their personal goals and needs.
Ideal Home Sharing Provider:
- Experienced in supporting adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Able to maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive home environment
- Able to provide patient, respectful, and person-centered support
- Strong communication skills with families, agencies, and support teams
- Able to learn, adapt, and seek guidance when needed
- Able to provide consistent and dependable support that builds trust and stability
Requirements:
- Minimum of 19 years of age
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Satisfactory home study
- Satisfactory criminal record check
- First aid / CPR certificate
- Driver's License
- Satisfactory health confirmed by doctor
Payment:
Home Sharing Providers will receive $1,886.13 to 5,856.13 non-taxable monthly payment. The amount depends on the individual’s level of disability support needs. Home Sharing Providers receive their total compensation via payments from Community Living BC (CLBC) and individual contributions. About the Individual
This individual participates in activities such as bowling, curling, and horse back riding. They like to play Mario on the Switch, watch TV and watch movies at home and at the theater. They enjoy going out for dinner and checking out whatever is happening around town. They like to make jokes, laugh and have fun. They like to make their own bed, dry dishes, swap the laundry from machines, and take the garbage out.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with epilepsy an asset. Epilepsy is managed with medication
