Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on attention to detail and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in various areas of the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Handle trash removal and recycling procedures efficiently
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to ensure facility upkeep
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads as required
Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
