Overview
Happy at Home Caregiving Services Ltd. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. We provide quality Home Health Care to the Langley, Surrey, (North and South) Delta and Richmond, BC community. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Currently look for a committed care worker to work the shifts below for a couple clients in a facility in Queensborough (East Richmond). Please note shift times might be adjusted slightly to accommodate clients requests.
- Tuesday's 10am to 6:30pm
- Wednesday's 10am to 6:30pm
- Thursday's 10am to 6:30pm
- Saturday's 10am to 6:30pm
- Sunday's 12pm to 6:30pm
Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
- Support with feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional requirements are met
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers or repositioning
- Document care provided accurately in accordance with agency protocols
- Support clients with dementia care, hospice needs, or working with individuals with disabilities
Requirements
- Health Care Assistant Certificate or Nursing Background
- Cleared Criminal Record Check
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against Covid 19
- Previous Experience working with seniors
