We are seeking a Sandwich Maker to join our team at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer preferences and restaurant standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assist with cashiering duties when needed
- Help with kitchen tasks such as food handling, food service, and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience
Skills
- Experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling and cashiering tasks
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks as needed
