We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Supervisor - Trailer Assembly to join our team at our Saskatoon location.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will support production through timely and detailed documentation, communication and interface with Manufacturing Team Members, Supervisors, and Engineering. You will maintain daily and hourly knowledge of the continuously advancing production schedule, ensure minimum downtime, and coordinate the availability of parts and components.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure they are kept informed as to the manufacturing progress of units in production.
· Working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure non-conformances are corrected and that rework is kept to a minimum.
· Reviewing specification sheets to ensure a sufficient supply of parts and materials.
· Training team members in the proper use of equipment and on work procedures.
· Resolving concerns, solving production problems, providing leadership and motivation to all team members consistent with achieving a common goal.
· Reviewing the current work schedule, the availability of parts, components, and materials and planning for the manufacture of units indicated on the production schedule.
· Participating in meetings and offering ideas related to bill of materials, design, quality or manufacturing.
· Communicating with team members in other departments in a professional manner.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
· Advanced mechanical aptitude
· Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software is preferred.
· Training or experience in Lean Methodology.
· Additional training in supervision and project management is preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
