Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of trucks, trailers. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air system issues
- Complete safety inspections with DriveON system and ensure equipment meets compliance standards
- Troubleshoot and repair engines, brakes, suspension, and drivetrain components
- Maintain clean and accurate service records
- Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with management
- Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications
- Valid 310T License or apprentice
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- DZ or AZ license considered an asset

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday (with Saturday and after hour emergencies)
- Overtime available
Experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, brake systems, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Experience performing preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Apprentices with relevant shop or field experience are strongly encouraged to apply
Licence/Certification
- 310T License or Apprentice Registration (required)
- Driver’s License (required)
