Arro Wellness is hiring a Registered Kinesiologist or Certified Athletic Therapist to help lead our new 1,300 sq. ft. rehabilitation gym.
We are a multidisciplinary clinic with 11 treatment rooms and a team of physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, osteopaths, and acupuncturists.
What You Will Do
- Lead supervised rehabilitation sessions.
- Teach and progress exercise programs prescribed by our clinicians.
- Assess movement, strength, mobility, and function within your scope.
- Safely supervise several patients completing individual programs.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the treating clinician.
- Complete clear and timely notes in Jane App.
- Help develop rehabilitation programs, memberships, and gym procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized gym.
Who We Are Looking For
You are confident on the gym floor and comfortable working with patients recovering from pain or injury.
You can manage several patients without making care feel rushed or generic. You know when to progress an exercise, when to modify it, and when to involve the treating clinician.
You must have:
- Current registration as an R.Kin with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario; or
- Current CAT(C) certification with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Strong exercise prescription and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic.
