Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive to the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Take and manage reservations via the POS system
- Manage the waiting list and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with composure
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and reservation management software is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
