Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across 50+ condominium buildings and lead a team of 60+ cleaning staff. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service quality.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards, supporting and training staff, ensuring proper site coverage, and building strong working relationships with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
New Property Onboarding
- Lead the initial setup of new buildings
- Perform cleaning services to company standard
- Establish an efficient workflow based on building layout
- Ensure all required equipment and supplies are in place
- Identify and communicate any scope or site-related issues
Training & Handoff
- Train new hires using a structured 3-day training process and provide ongoing coaching and performance support
- Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and expectations
- Ensure new staff can complete full shifts independently
- Approve readiness before handing off the site
Coverage & Quality Control
- Provide coverage for staff absences and vacancies
- Perform quality checks across assigned properties
- Address service issues and stabilize underperforming sites
- Reinforce company standards and expectations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Provide service and procedure improvement
Technical & Administrative Skills
The ideal candidate must be comfortable using various software and mobile applications for daily operations, communication, scheduling, and reporting, including:
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar)
- Connecteam
- CompanyCam
- ClickUp
- Other management apps
Strong computer skills, organization, and the ability to learn new software systems are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional cleaning experience
- College diploma or equivalent team management experience is required
- Proven ability to work independently and complete full cleaning shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to train and guide others effectively
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
