Angular Front-End Developer
Long Term contract
Toronto, ON - Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, scalable, and reusable UI components using React.js, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, and CSS3.Build and maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) using modern React patterns, Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot applications hosted behind Nginx web servers and reverse proxies.
- Optimize application performance, page rendering, caching, and load times.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, backend developers, and QA teams in Agile environments.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Monitor production issues and support application deployments.
Required Skills
- Front-End Technologies5+ years of experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in: React.js JavaScript (ES6+)TypeScript, HTML5CSS3 / SCSS / SASS
- Experience with: React Hooks Redux / Redux Toolkit React Router Axios
- Responsive Web Design Web Server & Deployment
- Hands-on experience with Nginx: Reverse proxy configuration Load balancing SSL/TLS configuration URL rewrites and routing Performance tuning and caching Static content hosting API & Integration
- Experience consuming REST APIs.
- Understanding of API security, authentication, and token-based authorization.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is an asset.
- Testing & Quality Experience with: Jest React Testing Library Cypress or Selenium
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- DevOps & Tools Git/GitHub/GitLab CI/CD pipelines Docker Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps SonarQube
Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
