SCHOOL: LOUIS RIEL ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY CENTRE
COMMENCING: September 8, 2026 and will end February 5, 2027, or one day prior to the return of the incumbent, whichever occurs first.
This teaching position requires an individual who embraces our divisional Multi Year Strategic Plan through collaboration and
effective and inclusive educational practices that are student centred and data driven.
The ideal candidate qualifications include:
- Current experience in a children’s centre (day care or similar agency).
- Classification as an ECE III.
- Be enrolled in or have completed a provincially recognized teaching certificate program (including Vocational Teacher
Education Certificate).
- Related university degree preferred.
- Successful teaching experience and a range of industry experience.
- Experience coaching students’ participation in industry work placements.
- Demonstrated ability to form positive partnerships within the industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of the ECE program at Red River College will be an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) will be an asset.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A Classroom Limited Teaching Permit will be required if not currently certified to teach (the Division will assist the
successful candidate in applying for this permit).
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
- Respect In School or Commit to Kids certification.
- Review and comply with divisional policies and guidelines.
