K-Line Trailers designs and fabricates custom heavy trucks and trailers for on- and off-road use with the best design and production teams in the industry. We are seeking a qualified candidate who enjoys the challenges and rewards of hands-on, rapid product development cycles.
Applicants should have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, knowledge of mechanical design and weldments, and manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, able to work under pressure, have great time-management skills, and effectively interface with other departments to ensure timely project completion.
Position Entails
- Proficient use of AutoCAD Mechanical and Microsoft Excel
- Autodesk Inventor is an asset
- Production of detailed assembly and manufacturing drawings
- Production of bills of material
- Designing and developing new products and problem solving designs that are in production
- Design proficiency, specifically in stress analysis and hydraulic system design
- Keen attention to detail
- Work is mostly in an office environment with some technical tasks on the shop floor or outside
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years post-secondary education (Mechanical Design or Engineering)
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar is an asset
- Ability to effectively discuss technical matters in English
- Time management, communication and organizational skills a must
- Experience in trailer design or heavy steel fabrication an asset
- Excellent computer skills required, VBA experience an asset

Position is open to those qualified for the position and that are legally allowed to work within Canada.
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
