We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide estimated wait times
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
-Manage Retail Beer Store sales and Take out\Delivery Orders
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Previous Hosting experience is an asset.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant/hotel operations
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
