- Manage appointment scheduling using Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace applications
- Handle data entry tasks with precision, maintaining accurate records and files
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, proofreading documents, and managing correspondence
- Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
- Assist with medical or dental office administrative tasks, including patient check-in and insurance documentation if applicable
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized for efficiency
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Support office staff with administrative projects to enhance overall workflow
Experience
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles, preferably in a medical or dental setting
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills
- Familiarity with data entry, filing systems, and basic bookkeeping (QuickBooks experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous customer service experience emphasizing professionalism and positive communication
- Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for relevant tasks
- Ability to type accurately at a steady pace while proofreading documents for errors
