Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Manage freight loading and unloading procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all transportation laws and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle maintenance.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver's license.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight management.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of transportation laws and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
- Prior experience with logistics coordination is a plus.
