Position Summary
Fairweather is looking for a dedicated Key Holder to join our team. The Key Holder plays an important role in supporting the store management team in developing staff while actively contributing to achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer service standards are consistently met
- Maintain the store to ensure it is clean, organized, and ready for customers
- Ensure merchandise is replenished and presented according to visual merchandising guidelines
- Execute markdowns and merchandising directives
- Process customer sales transactions
- Receive shipments and ensure products are placed according to company standards
- Assist in training new employees
- Handle cash operations in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager
- Support the Store Manager in supervising daily sales floor activities
- Perform key management duties such as opening/closing the store, preparing deposits, setting up visual merchandising, maximizing sales, and engaging with customers to promote additional products
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Schedule:
- Availability on holidays and weekends required
- Overtime as needed
- Workdays and hours may vary
