Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in drywall installation and repairs as needed.
- Perform maintenance person tasks related to construction painting and finishing.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and materials is a plus.
- Basic carpentry skills are beneficial for completing various tasks on-site.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
