Woofy World Kennels & Daycare is expanding its team and has a part-time opening for a Pack Leader/Dog Kennel/Doggy Daycare Assistant. We are looking to offer part-time scheduled shifts (Wednesday - Friday), plus availability for fill-in shifts (Saturday - Sunday). We offer an extensive training period so we would prefer applicants that are looking to commit to at least one year of employment. We offer competitive wages plus a Full Benefit package and tips after 3 months of employment.
The ideal person will have a passion for dogs, as well as strong dog handling skills. Experience working with dogs in one of the following areas: kennel work, doggy daycare or dog bathing/grooming is an asset. The right person must also have strong customer service skills, a strong work ethic, patience and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Own transportation is needed as we are not located on a regular bus route.
Job Description:
- Assessments of new dogs
-Working with dogs one on one
-Working with dogs in a pack environment
-House keeping (cleaning/sanitizing dog kennels and common areas and keeping dog pools clean)
-Laundry
-Feeding and medicating dogs
-Front office work (check-ins/check-outs, reservations, phone/fax/email, general customer service)
