Auto Body Technician
Duties:
- Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition
- Perform bodywork, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking
- Apply paint and clear coat to achieve a seamless finish
- Replace or repair damaged parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors
- Align and adjust body panels for proper fit and function
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and tools
- Proficient in using body shop equipment, such as paint guns, sanders, and welders
- Familiarity with vehicle makes and models, including their structural components
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical specifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
