Canadahires is seeking an experienced Rigger / Machine Moving Foreman to lead our client's machine moving and rigging crews. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in specialized machinery relocation, heavy forklift operation, and coordinating safe, efficient job site operations. Required Qualifications
** Must be legally allowed to work in Canada. We do not offer sponsorships.
- Extensive heavy forklift operating experience
- Specialized machine moving and rigging experience
- Previous experience supervising or leading a rigging or machine moving crew
- Strong understanding of safe rigging practices and equipment operation
- Ability to read job plans and coordinate complex machinery moves
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work overtime and travel to job sites as required

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead machine moving and rigging crews on industrial job sites
- Plan and execute specialized machinery installations, removals, and relocations
- Operate heavy forklifts and other rigging equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and industry safety standards
- Coordinate with customers, project managers, and crew members to complete projects safely and on schedule
- Inspect equipment and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Mentor and train crew members as needed
Travel Requirements
- Most of our work is located throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel outside the GTA as project requirements dictate. Occasional out-of-town work may be required.
