Westlock Powersports & Marine is actively seeking a new addition to our dynamic Parts and Service Department. Our modern, state-of-the-art facility is conveniently situated just over an hour to the northwest of Edmonton, right along Highway 44. Candidates must be open to commuting or relocating to this location.
Overview: The Shipper/Receiver at WPM Westlock will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate record-keeping, coordinating with suppliers and couriers, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and verify incoming shipments against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods. Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas.Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor or procurement department. Maintain accurate records of received goods.
Prepare items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Determine the method of shipment, schedule pickups, and coordinate with various couriers or transport companies. Maintain up-to-date logs of outgoing shipments. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers. Helping to maintain and fulfill orders for Ecomm.
Assist in the inventory process, including regular stock checks, updating inventory records, and notifying relevant departments of stock levels. Ensure that the storage areas are organized, safe, and clean.
Maintain shipping and receiving documentation in an organized and accessible manner. Collaborate with other departments, suppliers, and couriers to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines related to shipping and receiving.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if required). Stay updated with changes in postal regulations, shipping methods, and carrier requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
