Job Summary
Beaumont Catering is seeking to add professional and reliable onsite event servers to join our team for our busy event season this summer. Beaumont is a boutique catering company who specialize in high quality service for weddings, corporate gatherings, private parties and curated events. We use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients and pride ourselves in creating personalized dining experiences. We cultivate a team environment, where we learn and grow from each other. We are a small hard working team and looking for the right candidates to uphold the Beaumont standards. We cater to Victoria, Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. This jobs includes travel to different venues and locations and will require a reliable mode of transportation and valid drivers licence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in different venues. This role involves serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests’ needs are met with efficiency and courtesy. Previous banquet or catering experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. The Server will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout the event
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, venue and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with event chefs and other team members to deliver seamless service
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Experience
- Prior experience in restaurant, catering, banquet or food industry service roles is preferred but not required
- Strong background in guest services, hospitality, or customer service is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for success in this role

- Serving it right certificate
- Valid BC Drivers licence
- Weekend availability
- Valid Sin number permit to work in Canada
- Food Safe certificate Level 1
