Tire Technician Job Description
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background . As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires for various vehicles while providing excellent customer service. This position requires experience in commercial tires and small to medium OTR. Service truck operations and road calls.
Duties
- Install, balance, and align tires on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tire-related services.
- Conduct maintenance checks on vehicles as needed, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire options, services, and pricing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling tires and equipment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tire services and automotive maintenance.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to tire installation and repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
