Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other confections.
- Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic designs, utilizing cake decorating techniques.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products for sale or delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about baked goods.
- Manage packaging of products to ensure freshness and presentation quality.
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in product quality.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with additional kitchen or front-of-house duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation is highly preferred.
- Restaurant or food industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience including food handling, cooking, and food presentation techniques.
- Creativity in decorating cakes and desserts to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or ingredients.

Pay: $18.50-$26.75 per hour
