Transit Drivers
One (1) Full time positions available
Start Date: as soon as possible
Monday to Friday, Occasional Weekends as needed
BGC London is committed to providing safe, inclusive, and accessible services to our community. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Full Time Transit Driver to join our team and support the transportation needs of our clients, including seniors and individuals with mobility challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients within the City of London
- Assist clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or who are frail
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of the vehicle
- Complete daily logs and incident reports as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum ‘F’ Class Driver’s License held for at least 4 years
- Clean driver’s abstract with no more than 5 demerit points in the last 3 years
- At least 1 year of experience assisting clients with mobility aids
- Physically capable of bending, lifting, kneeling, and assisting passengers
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Standard First Aid with CPR Level C and AED (or willingness to obtain upon hiring; cost covered by employer)
- Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance from local police
