Media Multi-Com Communications is currently accepting applications for Low Voltage Cable Technicians to join our team to satisfy ongoing growth. Our ideal candidate is a team player who thinks critically, is mechanically inclined, pays close attention to detail, continually strives to improve efficiency and settle for nothing less than premium quality in their workmanship. We install a variety of cutting-edge systems that are in high demand including Nurse Call, Public Address, Intercom, Intrusion, CCTV, Access Control, Audiovisual, Centralized Control and Certified Network Wiring systems. The primary focus of this position is physical infrastructure installation, but could potentially lead to future advancement opportunities in system programming and commissioning depending on technical aptitude and performance.
Experience is a definite asset, however we are willing to train and advance the right person from an entry level. We require at a minimum:
OSSD or equivalent
Valid “G” License and clean drivers abstract
Ability to pass a police check
Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19
Experience in the safe and effective use of basic hand and power tools
Flexibility to work variable day and afternoon shifts day to day if required.
Willingness to travel overnight periodically as required
Great team player attitude and a willingness to continually learn and work hard.
Some of the most highly sought after installer attributes and skills include:
Network cable installation, termination & certification best practices, equipment rack and panel wiring, working knowledge of various tools and test devices, working at heights, aerial lift, EMT & PVC conduit work, supervisory skills, the ability and willingness to travel periodically, knowledge of infrastructure requirements for various systems, reading blueprints, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Install structured cabling systems for telecommunication and data networks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble and maintain equipment.
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to troubleshoot issues.
- Perform testing and validation of network connections, including Ethernet and low voltage systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site.
